To kick off our season of intrigue, murder, high suspense, Player’s Theatre presents the daring production of Frederick Knott’s infamous play, Dial M for Murder. Directed by Ali Aasim, the play delves into questions of mistrust, dark schemes, and even darker characters, in a tense and, at times claustrophobic, murder mystery. In a play where everyone is a crook, the question of ‘who done it?’ becomes ‘how could they possibly get away with it?’
Players’ 2015-2016 Season
This year’s season is thrilling, evocative, and above all, daring. In choosing these 4 shows, we draw together narratives of murder, misplaced trust, and intrigue, in a season that is both suspenseful and thoroughly entertaining. Through these four productions, we aim to push audience to question around the nature of morality and of trust.
